Great news.. Fall conference was a lot of fun. From the Opening to the Closing, lots of new things were learned. Each of the chairman put on a great program, and they told us lots of new things going on this year. It was hard work and I wouldl like to thank them for doing it. This was the first time that I was able to pack ditty bags for a stand down, what a great way to find out what goes in those bags. Now I know what to be looking for to help with that project. Also the Elmobilty room was set up and I looked around in there sat down and read a book. I looked up and there were Junior girls all around me waiting for me to read out loud. What fun we had even though I needed to be quiet so that we wouldn't inturupt the meeting. We were able to do a raffle for Creative Arts, Claudia Barber-Martin donated her painting that she won last year in the Creative Arts program in Michigan. We raised $550.00 to go for the Presidents Project. This fund is growing and I couldn't be more proud. This weekend I will be attending the 10th District tour. It will be fun to see all the different Post Homes. There are so many that I have not visited and I have found each have there own unique personalities.
